On August 11, Samsung will hold an Unpacked conference where lots of new products will be announced. Little suspense, since everything has already leaked on the net. Among the objects unveiled, the Galaxy Watch 4. We know today that it will embed a still new processor.
The Sammobile site, always well informed, tells us that the connected watch would be equipped with an Exynos W920 processor. It would thus replace the Exynos 9110 which has been used on the brand’s watches since 2018. The latter has been used on the Watch Active 1 and 2 and on the Galaxy Watch 3.
The Galaxy Watch available in two models
This is the first time that this SoC will be used, so we do not yet know its capabilities. However, Sammobile indicates that the user would find his account there since the CPU would be 1.25 times more powerful than the old one, while the GPU part would be 8.8 times more powerful. What allow a little faster navigation as well as more animations on the screen. On top of that, the watch is said to have 1.5 GB of RAM, yet another improvement over the Watch 3.
