OneLab, the experimental branch of OnePlus, has released a brand new tool: Clipt. This is software that allows data to be transferred very easily from one device to another using Google Drive. His great strength? Its simplicity, according to the development team.
It is true that the tools allowing to keep our files in the cloud are legion (OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox …) but Clipt wants to simplify the thing as much as possible.. This is either an Android application, or an extension for Google Chrome. An iOS application is currently in development.
Clipt is an easy and encrypted application
As shown in the video at the end of the article, the use is childish. Thus, it is possible to copy a text using the tool directly in the notification bar to find it instantly on your other connected devices (smartphones, tablets or computer). The same goes for files or images. What, according to OneLab, avoid synchronization concerns which can be long or sending emails to yourself.

Plus, every send is encrypted, meaning you and only you know what is being transmitted from terminal to terminal. A small tool that could be useful for those who like to multiply platforms. There are still a few small bugs, according to The Next Web, such as a sync that sometimes goes wrong, but the application is still effective. Of course, you don’t absolutely have to have a OnePlus terminal to use it, since it is compatible with all products running Android or Google Chrome.
As a reminder, OnePlus also recently released two new high-end smartphones: the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro. We have both tested them in our columns and they are very satisfactory, despite a few small flaws.
And you, are you going to try Clipt? What do you think ? Tell us in the comments !
